This pack contains 6 strings for Spanish/classical guitar, with clear nylon treble strings and silver-plated copper bass strings. The bass strings are wound with wire made from a nickel-chrome alloy.

CLA1 strings are normal tension strings. Normal tension means that the strings have a medium-high mass weight compared with high-tension and low-tension strings. The strings' mass weight affects the amount of energy they transfer to the guitar's soundboard and body, and also affects the guitar's tone and playability. The higher the mass weight, the more energy and therefore the higher the volume, but also the less clarity and dynamics in the tone, as well as being harder on the fingers to play.
Which strings should I choose?
These normal tension strings are a good compromise, giving you strings that provide good volume while retaining their clarity and dynamics, and which are still comfortable and gentle on the fingers to play. We therefore recommend normal tension strings for beginners.
